Credits

Calls are paid for with credits from your account's balance. Each endpoint has its own price, shown next to it in the playground on verisec.dev.

When a call is charged#

• Only when it succeeds. A call is charged when it answers 2xx. Errors, timeouts on our side and 5xx answers are free.
• Once. The libraries never resend a call that might already have run, so one call can't be charged twice. See Retries.

When credits run out#

A call that would go over your balance, or over a key's spending cap, answers 402 with the code insufficient_credits, and nothing is charged. Top up on verisec.dev under Billing, or raise the key's cap.

Seeing what you spent#

Billing on verisec.dev shows your balance and every charge. API keys → Logs shows each call a key made, with its status and cost.
